MikeinHungerrford Posted August 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2017 Just book a cruise today on Allure for April 1-It was expensiv for an inside room on 12th floor but we haven't been on a cruise for 8 years. Hope 7th months pass by quickly. Will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Plane flight is outrageous now but our travel agent told us to wait until Sept for price to get a little lower. anyone going on this cruise ? Twin Dad Posted August 11, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2017 We are on the same cruise and subscribed to the roll call. Booked airfare a few weeks ago after watching it go everywhere except down. Finally got an acceptable fare and bit the bullet. We are arriving the evening before and staying in town an extra day to fly home on that Monday. Kids get an extra day out of school and we hopefully miss all the end of Easter break traffic that Sunday. tbaby2020 Posted August 12, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2017 I just booked that cruise as well. Going to have Boardwalk balcony room. My first time on one of the Mega ships. So excited. What I'm not excited about is reading some of the posts saying how Allure is having propulsion issues and is having to leave ports an hour early in order to make it to next port on time. Will have to do this until they dry dock next year.
taglovestocruise Posted August 12, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 12, 2017 If your in Texas please disregard. If your from Berkshire be sure to check out royals air2sea program, almost unbeatable prices..
MikeinHungerrford Posted August 14, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted August 14, 2017 That's not good news about the ship leaving early from the dock-my flight leaves at 9a.m. from Houston airport
