Kermit426 Posted August 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2017 Has anyone gotten the souvenir cup for the bottomless bubbles lately? Wondered what the cost was and if it is similar to the ones in years past?
LuvtheBeach10 Posted August 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2017 I'm curious to about this too. We are leaving in a few weeks and one of our kids plans on getting the bottomless bubbles...
wildcatinms Posted August 17, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2017 I got one last month on our last cruise. I believe they were $8 without the package and $6 with it.
skywalkr2 Posted August 17, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 17, 2017 I've never bought the cup, but I really should.
jdoc2010 Posted August 17, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 17, 2017 The refillable tumblers are about 6.00 with the bubbles package. They have a few colors to choose from as well.
mdsgu Posted August 17, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 17, 2017 The tumblers aren't included in the price of the package? The last time we were on Carnival, my wife and I got the Cheers! package and the kids got Bottomless Bubbles -- all 4 of us received a tumbler. No. We have gotten the soda card (pre BB package) as well as BB and never were the tumblers included. On Celebrity, yes. Carnival, no.
Kermit426 Posted August 17, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted August 17, 2017 Thanks for the responses, sounds like similar to last time we cruised with Carnival. $6 is worth it to me to have a dedicated tumbler for the trip and to bring home to make my co-workers jealous :-)
okgirl Posted August 17, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 17, 2017 I have several different style of Carnival insulated tumblers. I take my Tervis Tumbler to use for coffee and hot drinks. And I take the other tumblers to get my soda in because it holds more.
tef43 Posted August 17, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 17, 2017 They still have the insulated tumblers, but now also sell the large stainless steel ones for $25, which you can get at Costco for 2/$15.
riclop Posted August 18, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 18, 2017 About $6.
Pellaz Posted August 18, 2017 #12 Share Posted August 18, 2017 The souvenir drink cups look nice, but don't hold too much soda along with the ice and are a bit of a pain to carry around with you. They're superfluous on Carnival since they don't operate any chip-operated soda machines, as they do on Royal (where they are included in their drink program). I'm surprised neither line has offered a logo drink holder (over the neck or "bandolier" style) to make it easier to carry these souvenir cups around the ship. Six Flags parks offer a nifty neoprene insulated drink holder for their souvenir cups that looks good and works really well, for $6. So cruise lines could sell it for $12. :)
LadySam1968 Posted August 20, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 20, 2017 On my last Magic cruise in February they had two different tumblers. The standard doesn't hold much tumbler and a yeti style tumbler that holds 2 cans of soda plus ice. And yes, they filled it with 2 cans each time. It ran about $20 bucks and keeps ice/drink cold for up to 24 hours. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Susieq0102 Posted January 26, 2019 #14 Share Posted January 26, 2019 (edited) Do the bottomless bubble sodas come in cans and not in a glass? Even at restaurants? If so, really??? Edited January 26, 2019 by Susieq0102

You always get a glass but it's generally poured from a can rather than from a machine.
Rare llarsen Posted January 26, 2019 #16 Share Posted January 26, 2019 I was going to pre-order the Blue Shark Water Bottles for our grandsons from online Fun Shop $9.95 each for their BB drinks. Does anyone know if these are better than the refillable tumbler you are all referring to? Thank you!
