NauticalMiss Posted August 24, 2017 #26 Share Posted August 24, 2017 kentchris is right. This is no scam. It's P&O being more security conscious. A chip'n'pin transaction is far more secure than a card swipe. Anyone can offer any card for swiping - they do not need to be the card owner. But if the card owner has adhered to the card's T&Cs, then they are the only person who can provide the correct pin. Nothing to see here.
Thejuggler Posted August 24, 2017 #27 Share Posted August 24, 2017 All that will happen is your credit limit will reduce by £50 due to a pending amount. Some credit cards will show pending payments online. If it isn't needed and you don't check your credit limit online you will be none the wiser. Josy1953 Posted August 28, 2017 #28 Share Posted August 28, 2017 We left Azura this morning and I have just checked my CC, the only amount outstanding is the actual amount on my final bill.
