I Luv Crusin Posted December 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2005 What is the room service menu like on HAL ships? Thanks
kakalina Posted December 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2005 Hi, the room service on HAL ships is divine. During dinner hours 6 to 9 you can order anything on the main dining room or the Lido menu. To your room, for free. Even lobster and baked alaska on formal nights :p ! During lunch they offer everything from soup to fish, beef to souffles. Breakfast can be ordered the night before on a form provided by your room steward, or you can call when you awaken and order your hearts desire and have it in your cabin within 15-30 min. Total Bliss :D . I was able to order tea with little sandwiches and scones, DH had tuna melts and frys, club sa ndwiches, fresh salmon and always wine if you pay for it. Everynight we'd check the main dining room dessert menu and order something exotic to the room with hot chocolate, tea, etc. Scrumptious.... now I'm hungry :(
Sillyjilly Posted December 5, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2005 Wow! We are leaving our our first HAL cruise Wednesday. I think I'm really, really gonna like this. We love to be lazy and relax in our room. Sounds like a great variety. I can't wait!!!!! Jill

OCruisers Posted December 6, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2005 Room Service is where HAL really shines! Honestly, they will bring you ANYTHING you want! This applies to ALL cabins -- not just suites! Happy Sailing! :)
