avalong Posted September 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2017 I received an e-mail from Windstar touting longer European cruises. I noticed when looking through them that there did not appear to be any "signature events." Are they going the way of the dodo bird?

imonaboat123 Posted September 11, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2017 Really sad to see that. On our Tahiti cruise last week the event was not as planned either. The catamarans that were supposed to bring everyone to the motu didn't show up!! Instead they had to make do and have the entire event on the ship.:o

So did you get to go to the motu off Bora Bora at all? Some former passengers have said they were allowed to go back and forth to Motu Tapu on the tenders throughout the day before the evening BBQ event. Did Windstar offer your group that option on Bora Bora day 2?
Second seating Posted September 11, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 11, 2017 We were allowed to go back and forth until something like 2, the water toys were over there (Aug. 13th sailing). I am sorry you missed a great event! Second seating
sandydlc Posted September 14, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2017 Our October 7th cruise from Athens to Rome includes a signature event in Giardini Naxos. They are referring to our event as a "private event" so I wonder if that's where some of the confusion is coming from?
