Steve007NY Posted September 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Is it good for any cruise regardless of new price and length? Is it transferable? Beyond the refund, is it 50% of the amount you paid or 50% of the new booking? Seeing some incredible eBay opportunities here :-)
Rare BirdTravels Posted September 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2017 The OP is asking about the hurricane credit. It is 50% of what you paid apples to your future cruise. In the past it was "use all at once" for a cruise for yourself.
khaide612 Posted September 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2017 I believe OP means the 50% deal for those whose cruises were cancelled. You should read the terms but it is most likely 50% of what you paid - not 50% off any cruise.

Steve007NY Posted September 6, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Thanks FOLKS. I'm actually on the escape 9/16 cruise which, hopefully, won't be impacted. I truly was essentially just curious Though thoughts of offering someone a reasonable amount and applying 50% off to a $40,000 world cruise set up some wonderful fantasies, if only for a brief while :-)
zqvol Posted September 6, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2017 If I recall correctly, the credit amounts to 50% of what you paid for the canceled cruise. If it were anything else all of a sudden you could use that 50% on the Haven when you lost an inside, whihc financially makes no sense to NCL.
