jake 26 Posted September 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Oh dear sounds like an 18/30s holidayWhat about a Motown cruise or 60s music cruise like Cekebrity do? I agree, it seems though that they are targeting young whippersnappers born in the 60/70s!

jake 26 Posted September 6, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 6, 2017 I think they say it is 80s music so perhaps for those born prior to the 80s. I'm also a baby boomers.

My children were born in the 80s and they would not appreciate an 80s cruise.
Vitalsign Posted September 7, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 7, 2017 What age group would like Ministry of Sound and silent discos then?
jake 26 Posted September 7, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 7, 2017 If the music is as Laura said, 80s music then those who grew up with it I.e 60/70s born will be interested. Silent discos can cover any period and genre of music.

horwich allstars Posted September 11, 2017 #10 Share Posted September 11, 2017 I was born in 1971 & I'm booking on ... with 3 friends of a similar age. It's a great idea, a few days away at the end of the school holidays, with good music & good fun. I have also been to a silent disco. ;p

horwich allstars Posted September 12, 2017 #13 Share Posted September 12, 2017 A silent disco is where the music is sent to you via headphones, so only the people with the headphones on can hear the music. As an observer you hear nothing, just see a load of people, wearing headphones, dancing... seemingly to silence. It's a good way to have a disco, that goes on very late, without disturbing other people.
