Hopefully by September 17th, you will be able to make that cruise. Not sure how much damage there will be to ports, and whether they will need to make itinerary changes, but I'm hopeful you will be fine on the 17th.

Our Aug 30 cruise got cancelled for Harvey. The notification email said we would be refunded our full amount plus get 25% off the amount we had paid toward a future cruise. The new cruise had to be booked with a certain time frame (2 mths I think) but could sail anytime in the next year. It worked out well for us.

No reason to worry about a cruise on the 17th. There may be damage to some of the ports depending on your itinerary.
