jiminyC_fan Posted September 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2017 Anyone here do the Atlantic crossing with Viking? Just looking for thoughts on it. We like sea days so that is good. We like rough waters so that is good, too. What am I not thinking of?
KirkNC Posted September 9, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2017 There is a roll call for this sailing here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2482146
KyOh Posted September 9, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2017 We thoroughly enjoyed the crossing from San Juan to Barcelona last February. There were enough activities to keep us entertained. The food was wonderful and we really enjoyed the lecturers. Can't comment on the mid-crossing but the southern was gorgeous with smooth sailing. Lobes1 Posted September 9, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2017 We have done four Atlantic crossings between January and September on the comparably sized Crystal Symphony. Maybe we were just lucky, but we have had much rougher seas in other parts of the world. Go for it!

impala1ss Posted October 7, 2017 #6 Share Posted October 7, 2017 How about the weather expected, temperatures, etc? We're going from Portugal to Miami in the beginning of November and don't know what to expect. Any experienced cruisers?
