agargoyle Posted September 30, 2017 #27 Share Posted September 30, 2017 Hi, I am cruising the repo cruise October 22 from NJ to San Juan. I plan on staying on one night and flying out on the 29th. That said, I have watched mainstream media and read all the "I talked to the cruise line" posts on FB and here on cruise critic. I started doing my own research. I have found several newspapers, FB posts and other online options from PUERTO RICO -- not US media outlets trying to sell papers. I will share the links. One if from Puerto Rico tourist bureau. I have been following it for a couple of days not and it is updated as needed. The other is from Univision. You will have to play with the site, change the language to English, scroll to the map of PR and pick 65 (that is San Juan). The information there has changed as things change. San Juan -- busses running, Uber running, internet access, ports open. Most things are only open from 7AM to 5PM. The tourism site has good information about the hotels and airport. Best advise is to make sure you check in for your flight before you get to the airport either on line or by phone. I will also post a link to the airport that shows the flight departure schedule. (that is what I am most interested in). http://puertoriconow.seepuertorico.com/ http://www.univision.com/univision-news/united-states/find-updated-information-about-your-town-in-this-puerto-rico-search-engine https://www.san-juan-airport.com/departures.php#

alcpa1 Posted October 1, 2017 #29 Share Posted October 1, 2017 panczar, Welcome to Cruise Critic. You will find your cruise under the ROLL CALL threads. Just scroll down to Roll Call. Click on Celebrity, then your ship and sailing date. The Roll Call will be where you find your fellow ship mates and all that they have planed for the cruise. Another beneficial site is the PORTS OF CALL forums. Under the Caribbean header you will find most of the islands you will visit. A few of the smaller islands are there as well, just hidden. This forum will contain information about each island and its highlights and excursion operators. Enjoy your cruise
