gmbhardy Posted October 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2017 We have been assigned a PrivaSea room, cabin 12009 on the Epic. I understand the room is located in the front hull of the ship and has an enclosed balcony with a large porthole like opening. Not sure I like this layout compared to a standard balcony. Has anyone cruised in a similar cabin on an NCL ship and what was your opinion?
vince_g Posted October 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 11, 2017 The opening is quite large. You will have to stand up to look out. Less light in the room, but I had a hull balcony on a QM2 crossing and it was much better than having a balcony totally open to the wind. Made the balcony more useable for a crossing. It offers complete privacy.
