sabdel Posted October 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2017 I leave for Anthem's 12 day cruise on 12/2 and I've noticed that majority of the islands that Royal is substituting for PR and St. Maarten are already on our itinerary. Where else do you think they would send us if they chose not to send us to PR or St. Maarten? They wouldn't travel all the way up to Mexico and Falmouth, would they? Here is our itinerary: Day 4 - Puerto Rico Day 5 - St. Maarten Day 6 - Martinque Day 7 - Barbados Day 8 - Antigua Day 9 - St. Kitts
elaineb Posted October 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2017 I think St. Croix would be a likely swap for St. Maarten... Maybe Nassau on Day 3 and skip San Juan?
finallyonboard Posted October 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2017 They just put on their website, the amended itineraries. The only island for the 12/2 Anthem to be substituted is St. Thomas in lieu of St. Maarten.

bouhunter Posted October 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 25, 2017 I read a couple of weeks ago that St. Maarten was accepting cruise ships by Nov.11. Looks like into December now for first SXM port stops: http://smn-news.com/st-maarten-st-martin-news/27444-cruise-partners-eye-december-as-better-start-date-for-cruise.html I read the same thing on another St. Maarten news site. LMINMA Posted October 26, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 26, 2017 Just booked this cruise today. Last minute, procrastination decision. While talking to the RC rep and booking she stated St Maartin. I noticed that although it states St Thomas when you go to try and book excursions it is showing St. Maartin options. So, not sure at this point, even with the update itinerary email from RC to people. Either way, either island, doesn't matter, can't wait....
