don't-use-real-name Posted November 13, 2017 #26 Share Posted November 13, 2017 UGH?? you lost me:) You would have to know something about the game and how the pieces move. My grandson liked the giant chess game on the Epic. :) xxxxxxxxx Glad you survived the 25 day ship positioning cruise and were able to do it with all that hurricane stuff in your backyard. About that bed deal - that was interesting: The cabin steward told me in splitting the bed he had to take it down 7 decks to stores and exchange for two twins. Then I find out he swapped it out with your cabin. So much for musical beds ! I didn't want to have to use the couch bed in the main cabin if I could avoid it. With the Queen bed in the bedroom that should not have been too much of a problem to convert. If it had been a King then it could not be done - King beds are not broke down into twins - and a King bed in my cabin would have filled the cabin with wall to wall bed. So anyway our cabin steward Rickmann pulled a fast one giving you a good deal for first leg of the trip. Wished that we could have had more time to socialize - but we both had miles to go before using a bed for sleep. Really a great time with only Juneau being a sore spot rain and all that. don't-use-real-name Posted November 13, 2017 #27 Share Posted November 13, 2017 Can you smoke while paying giant chess, if not deal breaker! :P Most recreational games are in an area zoned no smoking. Chess Checkers Shuffle Board Ping Pong Basketball/Tennis/Volleyball courts golf driving range etc. For most ships smoking is permitted on the Port side pool deck and aft fan tail deck and the casino and on the ships that have it Pipe & Cigar smoking lounge (starboard deck 6 NCL DAWN). Clue to an authorized smoking area - AN ASHTRAY. I would guess that you would be a Check Mated - deal breaker in your case.

Had a great time. The only time it rained during daylight hours' date=' was in Juneau. 7 floors OH my, I suppose much easier to switch with the cabin next door. I now know for sure the bed in the suite is much better [emoji4'] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J320A using Forums mobile app
