My time dining

If this already shows on my reservation, do I need to add it on the Cruise Planner? Our TA had added it but when I added the FNDR, I noticed it had MTD and add to cart.

You can make your specific night/time reservations for MTD through the Cruise Planner if you want.

We have anytime dining and I went in and added it to the cruise planner

Ditto...we added the time we wanted for each night on our planner. Then you can check it on the My Calendar. We like having this set up ahead of time versus waiting in the non reservation line. We have always had traditional dining at 6 so this will be new to us.

We rarely make reservations. The beauty of MTD is going to eat when you feel like it! Rarely do we have to wait. If you have a large group, then yes, make reservations. If it is 2 people, just show up and it works

I went on the Cruise Planner to add it but that was to make reservations which I don't want to do. It will be just 2 of us and last time we just went when we were ready to eat.

Yes, but if you know you won't make your time, it would be nice to call the MTD desk and cancel your reservation so others can use your table.

I had my first RC cruise this past August on the Explorer to Alaska. I had previously cruised many times on NCL On NCL you just show up when you want to any dining room, The "My Time" dining really threw me at first. We did not make reservations and just showed up for the first few times but was always told there was a 45 minute wait. I finally went to the main desk and asked what the problem was. The gentleman made some entries on his computer and told me I would not longer have a problem. He was correct, everything went well after that.

 

I'm heading out on the Allure in a few weeks. I have made advance reservations this time.

How early should we make reservations in respect to the cruise? I just booked today for next October and it's our first family cruise, my first cruise! I want to be sure to do everything to our advantage! So excited!!:D:D:D
