eric4395 Posted November 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2017 Stopping here next july on voyager of the seas from 10:30 till 19:00 only 8 and half hrs.Seems like hoi an or hue are the main places to visit but with journeys to these places taking up to 2 hrs each way seems like there is next to no time to see the sights. Anyone else had such a short time at this port, i think most other cruise lines stop here for 11 or 12 hrs. Whats the point of even visiting these places when they dont give you any reasonable time there. Poor show from royal carribean. Anyone else got any views on this. Rare xpcdoojk Posted November 9, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 9, 2017 We visited Da Nang and a Buddhist Temple there, it was a nice enough day and a good tour. If you are wanting to go to specific places in a country, then I think a land trip would be a much better option than a cruise. A cruise is going to give you a small sampling of a country like Vietnam. JC
datolim Posted November 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2017 Vietnam ship tours are not user friendly or value for money. lack of docks for walk on and off. Bad roads and distant from tourist sights. Feed back I get and personal experience is not good.
