Weather ?

Headed out on the Magic tomorrow. Looking at the weather in the Western Caribbean next week wasn’t promising. It looks like more than than the typical tropical afternoon rain. Does anyone know if there is a weather system in those parts? I’ve looked at weather websites but didn’t see anything. Sorry for such a dumb ?

Just looks like a very unsettled week....based on forecasts in Jamaica and Mexico the beginning and end of your cruise look very showery...best days wednesday and Thursday .

We refer to weather.org for forecast including marine conditions. Not accurate based on actual but serves as useful guide to us.

Thanks for replying! Looks like it will be nasty sailing out today too. Steady rain, 8-12 foot seas and 20-30 winds.

We all want nice weather when we sail and those of us who have sailed a lot know some days are better than others but I’ve been lucky and never had an entire week washed out even when stuck in the Gulf circling waiting for the Port of Everglades to reopen. But this is just my sister and myself so we can visit, sleep, read, eat.....reapeat. 😉 And do some recon since I’m doing this same exact cruise over Christmas with my husband and 3 sons. 🎅🏻

I’m still hoping we have some nice days. 🙏🏻

We just got back from the Western Caribbean Oct 28. It rained on us 5 of the 7 Days. We still had a great time but it rain softly for 2 1/2 days. The temperature was in the 70’s everyday.
