NCL Reps Battling for Reservation

I've used the same agent at NCL for several years. Only use her for making the reservation, the rest I do online. I put a cruise on hold and she contacted me and asked that I contact her when I was ready to book. I left a message for her the next day stating I wanted to book it. I then received an email (which had all my reservation info) from another NCL rep asking me to contact him on his cell regarding my held reservation. I thought maybe it had been turned over to him for some reason. I told him right away that I had been dealing with another rep and he stated "our policy is first one to the credit card". Not much shocks me when dealing with NCL, but this did. I didn't book because I had called his cell and wasn't sure. He did have an NCL email and phone number as well, but I got a bad feeling about the whole thing. Never did hear back from the first rep, so I booked with TA for the extras. First time I've used a TA in 18 cruises. Has anyone else had this experience?
