taylortime05 Posted November 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2017 Hi, We really do not want to do the Sting Ray excursion. I have read comments that Georgetown is a safe area and easy to see on our own. Would you have any suggestions on either a walking tour near the port or even short taxi rides to see things. I'll do a little more research on tripadvisor too. We are leaving tomorrow and cruising on Saturday. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2017 We often take the tender over to the tender pier and just walk around the downtown area. We will spend a few hours doing this. There is also shopping. Some people will take the bus or a taxi to a beach. Keith
cb at sea Posted November 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 23, 2017 Research the bus lines and routes....you can see a good deal of the island from the bus! Google Grand Cayman buses!
Pops, Esq. Posted November 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 23, 2017 Renting a car and driving to the other parts of the island (such as Rum Point) is pretty easy and safe. Sent from my iPad using Forums
