jersey412 Posted December 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2005 Hi Booking the VS # 6003 now understand it is in the front of the ship Any problems being over the Show Theater? Noise or privacy issues? Thanks
Druke I Posted December 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2005 Same comment as before - thrusters may cause noise and vibration. Anchoring at tender ports may cause noise and vibration.
SeaCCruiser Posted December 14, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2005 Same advice for VS Deck 7?
Bruin Steve Posted December 14, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 14, 2005 ...and we appear to be directly above the dance floor in #6011... I suppose this is better than being directly BELOW a dance floor? I am assuming that "dance floor" on Oceania does NOT mean "late night disco" and overwhelming bass...correct? drwong Posted December 14, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 14, 2005 The showroom rolls up after the evening show, which ends around 10:30 pm. Late night dancing is limited to the Horizons Lounge on Deck 10. Unless you're hanging out in the spa, you shouldn't be able to hear anything through the deck. But the wind against the front of the ship is going to be pretty strong when the ship is underway, making the VS preferable if you plan on spending your sea days on the verandah. It also causes a stiff wind to gust through your cabin if you open your stateroom door while your balcony door is also open. :)
