OBC and prebooked excursions

i know there have been several threads about payment of prebooked excursions, but since Princess seems to change their policy often, I thought I’d ask my question anyway. This morning I booked a tour for my husband and myself on our February 2 sailing on the Star. It did give me the option to use OBC for payment. I then checked my account and the OBC hadn’t been reduced. I called Princess and they said it won’t show until we board. Can anyone confirm? I did check my cc online and no new charges from Princess.

I can confirm this is how it worked for us two weeks ago. OBC was only reduced once we boarded.

same with us...online in personalizer it showed total excursions $$, obc $ balance due for excursions 0...but then down below it still showed obc of $...I found this under payment and credits......but once on board it showed purchase and right away full payments on the folio
