Booking Excursions Through Ship Mate

Hello everyone! Has anyone booked an excursion through the app ShipMate? They have an excursion I would like to do in Cozumel but I’ve never met anyone who has used Shipmate so I’m not sure how trustworthy/reliable they are.

I have not heard of that app.

IF I didn't book a ship's excursion the only other way I'd book is directly with the company running the excursion and not some other 3rd party site.

It is the same way for airline tickets. Why put someone else between you and the activity ? If you have any problem at all they won't be nearby to help you.

I use Ship Mate, but it's never occurred to me to use them to book an excursion. I'll either book the excursion directly thru Carnival or directly with the tour operator. I don't see the point of introducing a middle man to the equation, but that's just me

I looked at excursions through them but they jack up the prices just like the ships do. Nothing like booking direct.
