Onboard Credit

I'd like to purchase either an onboard credit or gift card for a couple of people who are cruising on the Dawn in May.

Can both be used toward specialty dining? Which am I better of going with or are they basically the same?

I always go with OBC and yes it can be used for speciality dining it can be used for most anything purchased on the ship it works as a credit on the account and will be deducted from the account balance it cannot be assigned to a certain thing I have never purchased a gift card so I donor know about them

I would suggest letting them know specifically before they go.

Last March on Epic we never received the "surprise gift". After we got home my cuz asked how we liked it. After researching found she had been charged.
