Christmas & New Years on the Viking Sea

Can anyone tell me what to expect on a Viking Ocean cruise on Christmas and New Years? We will be on the Viking Sea over these holidays this year and were wondering about special events or meals that go beyond the normal daily activities.

We were on the Sea for NYE 2016 (she was in the Med last year). There was nothing special done at dinner but following the show in the Theatre, there was a party in the Atrium to usher in the New Year.

Yes, that was special. I remember we got dressed up for the evening as our group was celebrating birthdays and anniversaries that night. Very festive!
