Getaway Mini Suites with Bunk?

Does anyone have any insight into mini suites with the pull down bunk over the sofa? We are in a mid ship balcony with a bunk which is perfect for the kids, but we just got the tempting upgrade email.....don't want to go from a comfortable sleeping arrangement to a larger cabin with the kids sharing a bed.

I appreciate the video! We are going to be in 13848 and it will have a similar layout.

 

Now to decide whether it's worth the try at upgrading :confused:

Can you decline the upgrade if you aren't happy with the room location?

Keep in mind that the cabin is barely larger - hardly noticeable. Most of the increase in size is in the bathroom. You need to decide if the cost is worth that. (Might be or might not be to you, just wanted you to be aware.)

I was on a mid ship balcony 2 weeks ago and the only difference I saw was a bigger shower, everything else looked the same.

If it's like the difference on some of the other ships there's about an extra foot of length in the living area, which they use for a slightly longer couch.
