Any real rush to book a chefs table for 4 in advance or can it be done on board? (Maybe with a on-board discount?)

Looking for availability experiences when you walk on vs. risk of not getting anything by waiting to long.

Have not cruised Harmony, but on Oasis they were almost begging people to attend on the first night. We were able to get a substantial discount.

Appreciate the insight. The FIRST night is really the only night that is not good for us. (I blame the over scheduling of the entertainment grid/puzzle matrix thing. Trying to get reservations for all the activities and everything else there is to do on the ship. Ports...who needs them...the ship is the destination!

We have sailed Oasis class ships many times (10+). We have always been able to reserve Chef’s Table onboard. We have seen discounts maybe once or twice. However, if there is a particular night you want to attend, it’s best to book in advance.

My family dined at the Chef's Table on Harmony last month. We booked the dinner on the ship and got 30% off. Food and wines were exceptional, but venue was lacking. They hold Chef's Table in the Solarium Bistro, in a curtailed off section. Noise from diners in the Solarium Bistro spills into the area. A special presentation dinner such as the Chef's Table deserves better.
