We will be boarding the Silhouette on Sunday. In the past Cruise Directors have sometimes been very annoying. Last summer on our RCCI Baltic Cruise, we really enjoyed the Cruise Director. He was funny, but not annoying in any way. Really liked his personality.

How is the Cruise Director on Silhouette now?

Better than some, not as good as others.

He seemed OK at the Connections party and hasn't been too bad on the morning announcements. That's about all I've seen of him.

Tuscan was good. I miss the parmesan fries and the chocolate fondue, but made so. ;)

My son ate one of each of the pastas. The waiter got him small bowls of each. They also did a good job feeding my food allergic daughter. It wasn't too packed - of course we were docked in San Juan.

We took a ship excursion today in St Thomas. Half the people on the trip were on Oasis. This is the first time I've seen a shared excursion.

St Crown bay is only partly open.

How was San Juan?
San Juan is still showing damage. If you walk in old town, you can see some. But, they are selling in the streets as usual.

The kids took a walking tour. Their guide said he moved into his place inside San Juan (that is usually an AirBnB) to get electricity. His place outside of town doesn't have it yet.

The speciality restaurants are doing well. We were unable to secure a reservation for the LCG for either tonight, tomorrow or the last night.

The staff for the Alcoves are doing well. We are enjoying the Alcove as a family gathering place.

We took a private tour on St. Kitts with Taxi Driver York. I had arranged it a couple of months ago. We did Romney Manor, then the end of the road at the beach. Everyone was tired, so a good day. This was my third time with York, and he didn't disappoint.
