What can we do when the cruise line mis-treats us?

Recommended Posts

Costa Magica left some 20 people, children included, in Fort de France for 2 hours with no explanation. Ship is in the port, needs to change position. We were told to board before 9.30pm or after 10.30pm. We arrived at 9.23 and gates were closed already. It is 22.50 now, ship is still closed. No rep of the line here. Can we sue them?

If you plan to sue, I guess you need to start documenting everything that has, and will happen, so your lawyer would be able to assess if there will be any legal basis to file a suit. There should be port security personnel there. You should seek their assistance, or know your status with the ship, now so they could guide you on what to do.
