Since this will be our first time to Belize, and if you have been to Belize within the past year, what would you suggest (no snorkeling) that we see/do that would not cost too much to find out what Belize is all about?

One of my favorite things was cave tubing w/ Vitaleno Reyes which is the #1 ranked thing to do on Tripadvisor.com. It's $50pp but that includes transportation and lunch.

There were people from about age 8 to in their 70's. Hike thru the jungle and get a nature talk for about 45 min, then a leisurely float down the river thru some caves.

We are doing this in Feb with Butts Up tours. I think it's $35 per person with the cave float and lunch. Must get off ship in Belize City and you pay after the tour.

Thanks for your replies. We will be on the Carnival Magic, and I do know we will be tendering but from where they dock, I'm not for sure.

You will be in Belize City. Carnival doesn't tender in Harvest Caye :) We are on the Magic in April as well :)
