MSC Seaside for family trip

I'm looking for some feedback on this cruise line and the ship itself. I am in the beginning stages of planning a 50th anniversary for my in-laws as well.as my 50th birthday. I have sailed on Carnival, Norwegian, and Royal Caribbean. I am an avid cruiser but am looking for something that is a little different since this is a milestone cruise for myself and my in-laws. So what I am looking for is how geared towards kids is the cruise line as well as this ship. I have seen a video of the ship and I see the water area for kids and adult kids alike. I will most likely have a 6 year old, 16 year old, 17 year old and a 13 year old cruising between myself and my brother-in-law. I want to ensure that there is enough for them to do to keep them happy so the cruise is a success. Thank you all for your input.

Does everyone enjoy classical music? Opera? Shows that are not comedy but beautiful dancing and singing to themes with lovely costumes? Do your research. We love MSC for being different. This ship will appeal to the kids, the waterpark area sounds great.

They will have lots of activities all throughout the day but in a quieter fashion. They will not be circling you out on the decks asking for drink orders as the other lines do. You can only judge what is a good fit. Dining is longer on MSC than on other lines. But you can always ask your waiter to speed things up for your table. They are known for having beautiful, clean ships with top notch entertainment. They incorporate many things into each show. Acrobatics, singing, dancing....

"I am an avid cruiser but am looking for something that is a little different"..... MSC is the perfect line if your looking for a little different experience. Different blend of nationalities which will give the ship and experience a different feel.... Different food offerings but still with normal american fare... Different ambiance..... Beautifully designed ship.... Great waterpark for kids....Plenty of activities for all ages of kids....ability to choose different type of cabins and experiences which would allow exclusive/private areas if crowd concerns bother you.
