Does the Elation have a Sports Bar? If so, how big is it?

The relatively small lounge at the rear of the ship (right outside the Comedy Club) has been turned into a quasi-sports bar. There are 2 TVs on the walls opposite the Comedy club entrance and 1 behind the central bar There are a few couches and chairs on either side of the bar that can see the bigger screen TVs.

I was just on the Glory for the Wild Card games and yes,

All of the games were available to watch in the sports bar. I was bummed at the outcomes of all of the games, but I did watch the one most important to me...

maybe if us football fans knew this in advance we might have booked during the playoffs, too late now. Whoever thinks NBC, CBS or FOX have anything to do with ESPN, needs to do some research. ESPN will have no ability to show the game unless it's on ABC a sister network

Yes, but the ESPN feed the ships use (or used to use) is the ESPN International feed. NFL rights are negotiated on a county-by-country or region-by-region basis. I honestly don't know if it's ESPN International, FOX International or somebody else who has the rights to the playoff games in the Carribean, but they will either carry the CBS/FOX feeds or produce their own version (unlikely except for the Superbowl) to show the game to that part of the world. .

Just like in the UK, you turn on Sky Sports, but still see the CBS telecast with their own in studio "experts" during commercial breaks and halftime.

But none of this really matters if the ships don't have those satellite feeds available to them anymore, or are restricted to only the sports bar.

We are currently on a B2B on the Conquest, last week all the games were on in the sports bar, and next door in the casino. Very large crowds!

Today the NFC/AFC championship games will be on in the sports bar, the casino bar, AND ON THE POOL OUTSIDE SCREEN!!!

There is no sports channel in the cabin. TV in the cabin is limited, a couple CNN channels, a movie channel that runs a movie at 12/3/6/9/12/3/6/9/12! There are several cartoon channels, and TBS, TNT, TMC.

I will write a review when we get back with more..... No changes yet on the room service, still free for some things, and some charges on some others!
