Wifi on ship in Cuba?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I'm considering a 5 night on the Majesty of the Seas with an overnight in Havana for later this year. I was wondering if I buy a wifi package, will I be able to access it on the ship while we are docked in Havana? I know that Cuba severely censors the internet but are cruise ships affected by this?

If you decide to use data on your phone, and are an ATT customer, you can use the data as you go. However, it is not part of the $10.00 a day deal, most other countries have. I used it for "mapping" as I walked around. The data connection was "poor" at most areas in town.

I did not use WiFi on the ship, mostly because I have no need to be checking in every 5 minutes when I'm on vacation. I use my phone/data as a tool, to find places, mapping, etc.
