scotslizzy Posted January 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Cruising next month out of Melbourne and we are familiar with Princess cruise lines but not out of Australia . Just wondered if they have the chefs table one night which includes wine pairings. Also does the wine list add additional Australian and New Zealand wines to their offerings each night. Getting excited now. Cheers Scotslizzy

We put our names down when we got on board and they rang us on the second last night to say it wouldn't be going ahead. Trish

Rare Hlitner Posted January 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2018 When they first started the Chef's Table we would pay about $50 per person and it was a terrific experience at a reasonable price. But at $95 - $115 we no longer think its a good deal. My suspicion is that many others have come to the same conclusion which is why its canceled (for lack of interest) on some cruises. But if you are interested just make sure to get your name on the list ASAP after boarding. You can try to use the "dine line" but we used to have better luck finding a staff person on our way into the MDR or Lido for our first lunch. It is first come first serve so it should be an early embarkation day priority. Hank
