Marple Sue Posted January 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2018 I have read that small bottles are on sale. Are their any units where fresh water can be taken. Are jugs of iced water available in the dining rooms? As someone who drinks a couple of litres this is a worry. Thanks
Pensioncruiser Posted January 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Plenty of water available all over the ship, they serve ice water with dinner but will offer bottled. The water in the cabin is fine to drink and you do have a bottle on arrival which you have to pay for and is replenish if you use it. You can also ask for water at any of the bars. Thanks You can get glasses of iced still water from any bar or restaurant area - your glass of water will be constantly refilled when dining in any MDR; there is no charge for this. My husband also has to drink 2-3 litres of water a day and has no problem whatever on any cruise. On Discovery 2 there are water dispensers on each deck (with a carafe to fill in your cabin) but up to now this hasn't been the case on Discovery although this could change. Your steward will be happy to get ice for you to use in your cabin. Edited January 17, 2018 by campolady

John Bull Posted January 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Just one little hint. Because water is stored in tanks & not from underground, it's a little tepid. No worries in the restaurants, bars, etc cos it's iced. But hang onto an empty coke bottle or whatever & pop water in the fridge in your cabin JB :). Longislandtea Posted January 17, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Not all of the Cabins have a fridge. However, there are water stations where you can fill up with water. If you go for the Premium Drinks Package, bottled water is delivered to your cabin each morning.

WeeCountyMan Posted January 17, 2018 #11 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Easy way to have water in the morning when you awake - ask your cabin steward to fill the ice bucket each evening. It melts overnight and is nice and cool.
