IOS - arrival at port/check in time for Jan 18

I asked this on the roll call board but will ask here as well. Our cruise leaves tomorrow.

We rec’d an email saying not to show up at Port for check in until 12:30 tomorrow (18th). Is that a formality or can we still get there early?

 

It seems I remember on our last cruise we received the same email but we still showed up at port at 10:30 AM and we started check in.

If the email stated some sort of reason, like government inspection or enhanced cleaning, then I'd heed the times in the email. If no reason was given, they you are probably OK to show up anytime.

Agreed. I was on Indy about 5 weeks ago. Had the 12:30 time, showed up around 10:30, no lines at check-in, had to wait a little while upstairs, on the ship by 11:15.

Just re-read the email and there was no reason stated for the 12:30 arrival time.
