miamimommie Posted January 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2018 Booked a last minute 5 night on Vision for February. Never cruised Vision or only 5 nights. Any tips? Also wondering about the dining menus - can't find any info. Thanks in advance!

rams408 Posted January 22, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2018 5 nights fly by quickly. Don't put anything off, or you'll run out of time😀. Enjoy your cruise!
Galveston Cruiser Posted January 22, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 22, 2018 We love the Vision. Sailed her years ago out of Port Canaveral on a 13 night cruise and just brought her to Galveston on a 26 night cruise. Our favorite was Izumi hand down. Second was the Chef’s table held in a private dining room though way too much food. Also love the Centrum where music and some activities occur. Would not hesitate to sail here again. Doug & Cindy Scrap Hunter Posted January 22, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2018 Only one formal night. Don't miss Park Cafe in the Solarium. Should Cindy and I go on a diet before our cruise? We don't drink alcohol but I can see a few extra calories coming our way.

LadyTxan Posted January 22, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 22, 2018 I was on the Vision in early November 2017 and probably would never have cruised on her but for a freebie from the casino (don't now why I got it -- not a big gambler compared to others). We had an inside cabin on deck 2. Best steward ever, great dining staff who could not do enough for you and also even liked the buffet on the evenings when I dined there. The Solarium is quite special in my opinion and there is a little area to the left of the spa where you can have a quiet private spot out on a narrow deck area. The ship did not feel crowded and embarkation and disembarkation were comparatively easy. Bottom line -- leaving Friday on three b2b's and just can't wait.
