Clearing Customs in Boston

Hi all

 

We are on a Bermuda cruise next year leaving from Cape Liberty.

 

We have had a stop added at Boston before we arrive back in NJ. I am guessing before we leave the ship in Boston for the day we will have to clear customs as we are arriving back in the USA.

 

A bit of quick research and it looks like Boston cruise port is really bad for this, has anybody had any recent experience.

 

We are from the UK so we will have no pre clearance so expecting the worst.
