i was wondering if they have afternoon tea on the Pride. I read they did few years ago. Thanks.

One more question the slot machines on the Pride take quarters only or any other coins? Can we bring rolls of coins? Thanks again. 1st Time cruiser.

The cashier at the casino is like a bank. You could change big bills to smaller or withdraw $$ on your sail and sign account [s&s]. The guest service desk also changes bills but lines could be long during the day.

PS. The only thing you need cash for on the ship is for tips, everything goes on the S&S. Cash is best in ports cause some ports can be a bit shady with CC's.

There is a machine in the casino, you keep putting in more quarters in hopes that one will push out a whole lot of other peoples quarters.

Tea used to be wonderful, all sorts of teas, but now, it's lipton. So I bring my own. Nice time to get out of the sun for a while, break up a sea day of noise on the lido, and have a cucumber sandwich. Which on our last tea was so bad, I stuck with scones, clotted cream and cake.;)

Regarding Afternoon Tea: I am just off the CARNIVAL BREEZE and tea was offered on the sea days, as it has in the past. The quality of presentation and service has declined so much though I found it unpleasant. Several people walked out with disappointment. o longer do you get your own little pot of hot water, you now have to share one pot between every two (2) people. I like to place my tea bag in the pot to gt a second cup out of it. We sat for fifteen minutes before they came to our table with the sandwiches...and they ere most out, only 2 people awn a table of eight received any. They never came with the pastry cart. nd, you now have to pay for your tea bag. Sad to see this cutback.

We found that the 'basic' tea (someone thought it was Lipton) does not have a cost involved. If you choose a specialty tea you will be asked for your Sign and Sail card and be charged. We got caught once - didn't know there had been a change. Now we always have the basic tea which is fine with us. We love Tea Time - scones are great - have always found there are desserts you do not see anywhere else on ship. The servers may be overworked some days during Tea Time but being polite and patient goes a long way. We have never had a bad experience at Tea Time.

This makes me very sad. I’m also concerned that with the cutbacks and added fees, people will stop attending altogether, and then tea time will go away forever because of “lack of attendance.” ☹️
