Anyone on this 7-day cruise? Chose it to spend more time in both Marseilles and Barcelona. Also, love the Cinque Terre and Portovenere is a gateway. great restaurant on the dock. Never been to Corsica (Napoleon), Sardinia. Anyone have advice on hotels, sights etc please do advise.

CruiserBruce has given you good advice but in 2018 there is no Barcelona to Marseilles cruise. There is a Marseilles to Barcelona cruise which we are on. Can you clarify the date of your cruise or where it begins?

Just a bit dyslexic. It is Marseille to Barcelona and we are considering it.

I don't think there is a roll call on this yet.

 

My wife and I are actually booked on it so that is why I thought you had the two cities reversed. We are doing the cruise before that and after this as well.

I have not stayed over in Marseilles before so can't help on hotels but hopefully someone can.

 

I also find trip advisor to be a great source for hotels.

 

For Barcelona we have stayed there before. We stayed at the Hotel Arts but that is further removed from the downtown area. You can get advice about Barcelona hotels on the Spain Ports of call forum and also trip advisor.
