Will there be taxi's all around the area to take one to Cocoa Beach in Port Canaveral (and vice versa)? Or should I just purchase the shuttle through RC for $19pp for 2 of us?

We used Uber they were excellent and cheaper.

Readily available and no need to pay for a shuttle. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are all readily available in the area.

Purchase the shuttle takes you to 3 spots pier- beach- and village any time you want they run all day that way you can go to all 3 if you want

We were in Cocoa Beach on 1/15/18 (GOS) and there is a shuttle right at the Port Canaveral port bldg. that charges $15 pp roundtrip. They go to a few different places and the driver we had was very helpful. They give you your round trip stub when you pay. We went into town, but mentioned to the driver that we wanted to go to the Riki Tiki Tavern at the pier and he took us back there on his way back to the ship.
