Luggage storage Galveston?

Where is the luggage storage place near the pier and the name of the place, please? Seeing fog this morning I am making plans for what to do if the same problem happens next week. My hotel will shuttle us to the pier, but if the ship isn't in yet, I'd like to store luggage while we stroll around the area and get a bite to eat.

If you happen to have a reservation with Galveston Express they offer luggage storage in their office just off the Strand. You can also drop it off with the Porter if you do not intend to carry it on-board.

If the ship is delayed because of fog, as today, there will be no porters taking luggage until she docks. Thus, need for off site storage. We will be on a hotel shuttle, so not using Galveston Express. Back to my question of where is the place and its name please.

The porters will be at the pier.

There is also storage at 25th & Strand at bus station.

I called this place after checking out their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/thecruisestop/

They said they charge $5 per bag

 

 

Galveston Express sent me this in an email:

Luggage Storage (Up to Two Bags) Rate = $10.00 each

If you have an evening flight after you return from a cruise, we can store your luggage for the day while you tour Galveston. Our office is just three blocks from the port entrance. It's a bit of a walk but you are welcome to store your luggage with us.
