Royal/Regal Aft Suites

I’ll be interested in any response as we have an aft cabin on the Royal booked for the Holidays this year. Only thing I have heard is sometimes you may get soot from the stacks on your Verandah?

My husband and sailed in November on the Royal in R730. HUGE balcony and beautiful suite.

I did notice when looking down that the suite directly under us (A730) did not have a balcony as big as ours.

I would recommend to everyone (if finances allow), to book an aft corner on Riviera.

I just booked an aft cabin on the Regal (Royal's twin) for a March 25th cruise. It is billed as a "deluxe balcony" category D4. It is between 2 gigantic owners suites. The balcony is much bigger than a comparable cabin not on the aft. It is still not considered a suite, one reason being that there is no tub only a shower. But we were told we get some mini-suite benefits like getting robes!
