Late flight from MIA

flight is not until 4pm... what has everyone else done when u had a late flight, just sit at the airport all day? Not interested in renting a car

Taxi or Uber to South Beach, pay to store your bags at the Luggage Lounge, and then explore, people watch, brunch, drinks, etc.

 

You can also check www.resortpass.com for large hotels/resorts offering day passes - enjoy their pool and facilities, tip them to watch your bags.

South Beach, or as we did and had a really nice excursion. Take the ships excursion to the Everglades for an air boat ride. Saw lots of wildlife and gators. The excursion includes transportation to MIA

The two suggestions above are the best ones. Uber to South Beach and use luggage lounge, or take a cruise excursion. Even if the excursion drops you off at 1:00pm or so, MIA is a big airport with lots of shops and place to eat drink. Unless you are flying one of the airlines that uses two of the smaller concourses.
