reedprincess Posted February 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2018 Where does one buy the passes for the Sanctuary on the Crown Princess? At the actual Sanctuary itself. Head straight up if interested..
Pam in CA Posted February 13, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2018 It’s not a “pass.” Once boarding, you go to the Sanctuary and select a specific lounger in a spot you want. That’s “yours” for the time you book and can come and go as you please. Some loungers are in the sun, some in partial shade, some with a view, others closer to the nearby pool (in the Spa area.) Cost is $20/half-day, $40/day; $30/day if you book for the whole cruise. That’s per lounger. Morning time is 8-12:30pm; afternoon is 1-5pm. Full day is 8am-5pm. Afternoon tea is served at about 3pm. coops14 Posted March 28, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 28, 2018 (edited) Run up when you board at the sanctuary. We were on the Crown last week. I ran up to the Sanctuary as soon as we boarded, before going to our cabin, but we were advised that all the sun beds in the shade were fully booked. Only the sun beds in the full sun were left. We were very disappointed, as we only wanted to experience an half day there. Edited March 28, 2018 by coops14 Missed out a word
DoMoreCruisin Posted April 1, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 1, 2018 We were on the Crown last week. I ran up to the Sanctuary as soon as we boarded, before going to our cabin, but we were advised that all the sun beds in the shade were fully booked. Only the sun beds in the full sun were left. We were very disappointed, as we only wanted to experience an half day there. We reserved a couple loungers in The Sanctuary for our 4 sea days on the Crown Princess during our ABC cruise. The loungers were very comfortable and the afternoon tea and sandwiches were great. Unfortunately, the wind whistling through the overhead canopies was really loud and not relaxing at all. Could not even hear conversation with DH sitting next to me. We cancelled the remaining 3 days and enjoyed our quiet Caribe deck balcony instead.
