missholly24 Posted February 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Hi has anyone visited the "tunnels" in El Morro without doing the guided tour? The tour seems to only be offered once a week and my boys are really interested in walking around them. I cant find info on how to get in there on the official website. Thank you for any info!! ABQrobin Posted February 15, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2018 the other fort, San Cristobal, has lots of tunnels that are open to public. We really enjoyed walking around, very dark with only a few lights here and there, interesting and really fun.

Actually, the tunnels tour at El Morro is a guided one, for safety reasons. I did it a bit more than a year ago and it was awesome!
ckorni1 Posted February 27, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2018 I agree with the other comments. San Cristobal is a great fort that I think the boys might like to explore, I would suggest that one.
