are the handicapped rooms located throughout the Norwegian ships..... or just on specific decks.

Also, are they all aft.....forward.....midship....... or various locations.

Trying to plan an October 2019 cruise and my SIL and husband are looking into a handicapped room; my husband and I only need a Mini and would try to book it close to their room.

Thank you all!

You did not indicate what ship or destination.

Using the NCL.com website fill in the information menu about:

Destination

Dates

Number of Days

Cruise Port

Ship

Click on Search

Determine the cabin category

Inside

Ocean View

Balcony (aft mid fwd)

Mini-suite

At this point take a pass on Free at Sea Perks

Click on Continue at bottom

See what cabins are available - note could be several decks

The color graphic deck plan move to the bottom and look for the HC symbol a dark square

Now browse the deck displayed for that dark square these are your HC cabins

Change decks up or down to see more available cabins locations with HC cabins

Best that you consider LOCATION near elevators and not in the middle of a long passageway

with obstacles cabin steward carts - and beware two WCs can not pass in most passageways

Standard cabin door frames do not have easy access for WCs

HC cabins have wider door entrances

Look for the Blue Square HC symbol at the bottom of each

cabin selection click on it to see the cabins and photos - - -

If you or they have need of a handicap cabin I'd call your TA or CC and inform them of it.

Depending on ship they can be hard to come by. Location is almost always but not guaranteed closer to elevators.

Number available will depend on class of ship and cabin category.

There are some threads I've seen specifically about accessibility cabins.

On several decks in several locations. There are only a few in each category so are quickly booked. We book ours almost a year in advance to get one we like.
