Sailaway versus Guarantee

Sailaway is generally the lowest priced option that comes with no perks and the minimum category is whatever is the lowest in the class. The GTYs that get offered come with perks and generally you can select the minimum category.

For example, last cruise we shopped for we had a Sailaway option which was for any oceanview cabin including portholes and obstructed or the higher rate that gave us perks and allowed us to pick a minimum OA which was guaranteed a picture window and on one of the upper decks.
