ElaineKeagy Posted February 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2018 I’m not sure I understand the difference. The Sailaway rate is lower, but with both you end up with some cabin of the same class, or better?? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
aceparty Posted February 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2018 Sailaway is the best price, but you get no perks. Guarantee is just that you are Guaranteed to be on the ship but can still pick a perk or perks. like UBP, UDP etc
ray98 Posted February 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2018 Sailaway is generally the lowest priced option that comes with no perks and the minimum category is whatever is the lowest in the class. The GTYs that get offered come with perks and generally you can select the minimum category. For example, last cruise we shopped for we had a Sailaway option which was for any oceanview cabin including portholes and obstructed or the higher rate that gave us perks and allowed us to pick a minimum OA which was guaranteed a picture window and on one of the upper decks.
