Splendor, Mexican Riviera boarding time? Dinner?

We haven't cruised in about 7 years. We are going on the 3/17 Mexican Riviera cruise from Long Beach.

I purchased last minute (last week).

The options when checking in were (Waitlist) for 8:15pm dining. Also, arrival at 1:30pm on the day the ship leaves (4pm).

We are flying in the night before.

Can we arrive at the boat before 1:30pm? It used to be that you could, but I've seen some people say they won't let you on until your boarding time.

Also, if there was only one option for dining, and we are wait-listed, what happens?

Other terminals may be sticking to those check in times but Long Beach has not been doing that yet. Perhaps they'll start soon so keep asking cruisers on the one before yours.

When you get on board seek out the maitre d and ask about your dining time.
