Folsom Posted February 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2018 All, I am interested in a cruise line (RC) tour that includes spices and the rum distillery, and then ends at Grand Anse for an hour swim time. My question is, can you stay at the beach and arrange your own transportation back, or must you leave when the tour does? Thanks and have a great day -F-

Lard Greystoke Posted June 3, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2018 If you take the water taxi make sure you give yourself plenty of time. They wait for it to fill up.
Wanderingsascent Posted August 24, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2018 We booked our island tour and beach break when we arrived in Grenada. There are lots of mini bus drivers to book. Arrived back to ship with plenty of time but the traffic was chaos. This was one of my favourite island's.

Getting back into town for your ship departure time is usually about the same time as us all knocking off work and heading out so it can be a bit crazy - sorry :o. The water taxis avoid the land traffic and drop you right back at your ship but they can take a while to fill up. Both routes have lots of drivers available and are good ways to travel but as the previous poster said just give yourself plenty of time so you don't have the worry and end your beautiful day on our island stressed out
