Approx cost of taxi

does anyone know the approx cost of a taxi from the holiday inn in coral gables to the port? I am trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to take a shuttle service there will be 11 of us. I can count on one finger the number of times i have been in a taxi any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stayed ay Holiday Inn CG In January 2005. The taxi fare was 31.00 ! On the way to the port at 11am the traffic was very heavy and we sat and waited in traffic for awhile as the meter kept running. :(

Since the cab is per cab and the shuttle per person and you have 11 people, it is probably a wash.

I would check this information on the hotel board located on the main board of cruise critic.

Lots of information is located there and locals that live there are in the know.

 

when calling a cab--ask for a van instead of the car-- at least 5-6 people can get in each van with luggage.
